My first event ( True Narrative)

 It was on December 2022 that I went to my very first cosplay event. I didn't know there were cosplays events being held here in Iloilo and when I found out I was really really excited since I was a huge fan of animes ever since I was kid. So when my best friend asked me to go with her to the event I just knew I had to go with her. 

At first my grandmother was against me going because I have an upcoming exam the next day but i kept on begging and begging to go, promising that ill still study well and get a good score at my exam. Eventually she gave in and allowed me to go to the event. 

The next I woke up early to get ready. I picked an outfit and put some make up on. And I was ready to head outside. After riding a few jeeps I finally arrived at my destination. The event was being held at Sm and it didn't take long for me to get there. 

The more I got near inside the mall the more rush and excitement I felt. After entering the mall I first waited for my best friend. A few more minutes passed by and I finally saw her. Squelling I immediately ran up to her and attacked her with a hug. Our little moment went on for about a few more minutes. Before going to the event area she told me she wanted to buy fries first. 

As we were waiting for he fries to be done cooking. I suddenly saw a line of cosplayers doing their parade. I immediately started squelling and grabbed my bestfriend on the shoulder telling her to look. We both started guessing who are the characters that we recognize and fangirling at the cosplayers who were cosplaying our favorite characters. 

Overall my first experience at an event was so much fun and memorable. I get to meet my favorite characters and have an interaction with them. Their were also a lot of merchandise that I wish I had more money to buy all the merch that I want. 

After that event it left something within me, the rush of excitement and happiness, being surround by people who share the same interest as you have. I decided that I also wanted to do cosplays. I want to join with people who have the same passion as me towards characters, I want to make friends and i want to meet more people. 

Even though cosplaying can be exhausting at time but every time I go to events and interact with other cosplayers or people, it just brings me so much happiness and excitement that I keep wanting back more. All the precious memories that I have when I cosplay is what keeps me going. Cosplaying is not all about the lavish costumes or the make up, its the people who we meet along the way and the memories that makes it all worth it.

A letter to mother

Dear mama,  I don't know where to start this letter, should I start with my fond memories of us together? Or the one where I felt like I was being abandoned? I'm well aware about the fact that you had me at a young age. You weren't ready for the responsibility of being a mother, you were just 20 when you had me. A letter to father

 Dear papa, When I was a kid to me you were the best dad a kid could have. You would take me out on dates, surprise me by buying me gifts or taking me to arcades, and you would take me to fares. You were the best! I had memories of us that I would never forget. There was a festival at Lapaz plaza and there were a fare. There was games and rides. And after your job you would take me there. We would play at the playground for a bit then we would ride the Ferris wheel after that we would buy linaga and eat and we would go home. My experience at the WVSU CAT exam

 The day that I was going to take an exam at WVSU (West Visayas State of University) final came. On the date April 14, 2024, that was actually my second time taking the exam. The first on march 10, 2024 but due to the cheating issue we had to get a retake of the exam.  And so on the day of the retake I woke up early to get prepared. I wore a black top and baggy pants to avoid the extreme heat of the sun. Around 12:20 in the afternoon I arrived at the gate of the university but before entering i had to print out my examination permit in order to be able able to enter. After printing out my examination permit, I asked a guard about where is the building that is written on the permit. I thanked the guard and went to the location he instructed me to go to.  As I was going there, their were also other people heading to the building so I followed.
